Known in French as Riviere Grange ( River Cottage) The property is in Senaillac-Latronquiere which is in the Lot region of France. There is a bar, epicerie nearby and 5 minutes walk away you find yourself at the amazing Lac Du Tolerme. If you like the outdoors, watersports, working out or just countryside the lake offers all of the above. There is a nature trail and for you fitness fanatics there is also a circuit dedicated to your needs. Each station around the lake has a workout for you to get your teeth into. It's altitude is over 1600ft so a good training experience. The lake also has a restaurant, a play park and a man made beach which is rarely busy.
Close by are the villages of Latronquiere and Sousceyrac. Both have amenities for shopping and markets on a weekly basis. The area is beautiful and a throwback to older England if you know what I mean. It's a slower pace of life and just doesn't seem in a rush to catch up with the rest of the world. A blessing by all counts.

Why are we selling? We bought the property with the intention of renovating both barns and making it into a business we could run. As time passed our family expanded and plans changed along the way. We decided to stay in England to raise our family. Our parents live in the area by the land which was another reason for us to move out. Since then one set of Parents have moved north and the other are looking to relocate to Spain. In the end we decided to sell up and concentrate on a project in the U.K. Ultimately our loss will be your gain and with the right ideas this tranquil slice of idyllic French countryside will make a great home and/or business.
